Rus DX 2011 PW7T(PY8AZT) SO Mixed HP

Once again I got the oportunity to drive big station PW7T alone. It wasn’t a full effort, just checkout antennas and equipments to coming up CQ WPX SSB Contest.
The SFI dropped and 10m activity was again vanished. Even 15m wasn’t in good shape. The rithm were very slow, even when band was open. I missed the US station.
Dispite bad propagation, all went smooth on the contest. A minimal problem on 160m dipole whitch need to be fixed – I couldn’t work bellow 1830kHz due high SWR.
We need some work on CAT interfaces, headsets and station ergonomy to get ready for M/2 effort next weekend. The team is getting together.

Abaixo resumo da minha operação no RusDX lá na PW7T. Como perdi o ARRL SSB, e com ele a boa propagação, só me restou sentar e brigar com a velha propagação de sempre dos últimos anos. Ritmo lento e poucas horas com alguns pileups mais animados.
10m NADA!!! Parabéns aos que escolheram essa banda… aqui, latitude 3 graus, só acompanhava a turma do Sul enfileirando o pileup, enquanto o único DX interessante que ouvi/tarbalhei em 28MHz foi TJ3FC, mesmo assim não estava no contest e me passou um 001 de lambuja.
Até mesmo 15m não estava como de costume. Aberturas curtas para Europa e pouquíssimos Americanos.
Com o ritmo lento do contest, sobrou tempo para testar os equipamentos, antenas, bater um papinho com os amigos e começar a preparação da estação para a operação M/2 no próximo fim de semana.
Escutei/trabalhei vários brazucas durante o contest: PY2SEX (tnx 3 bandas), PT2ZHA, PY3AU, PY4ZO, PY2NY, PY1SL, PY4FQ, PY5FO, PY4OG, PR5A, PY2TKB, PY4HO, PR7HR, PV2P, PY6KY, PV8ABC, PS8ET, PY5QW (tnx mult em 80m), PY2NA.
